I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: A Bear's Nemesis

A Bear's Nemesis A Bear's Nemesis by Roxie Noir
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

growing up, Quin was told by her parents that shifters are bad. they abused their woman! they kill people! they're animalistic! but more and more she's starting to doubt that. the family, Quin included, had moved to Cascadia to protest against the shifters and their desire that have legal marriages for their triads (a triad mostly being two men and one woman). during the protest shots are fired and before she knows is Quin is wrestled to the ground to be protected from the bullets.
Julien didn't know how fast he had to act to shield the human girl. his bear was in an uproar cause he wanted to protect their mate! Julien wasn't all to happy to find out that the woman his bear wanted was the daughter of the pair that were the biggest anti-shifter protesters around. once the shooting is over, Julien is desperate to find Hudson, his mate. he can't help but drag him into a fierce hug and kissing the living daylights out of him, glad he was unharmed. a second later Hudson eye's fell upon Quin and , just as Julien, made that instant connection, just knowing that Quin was the missing part to their triad. but Quin being the daughter of makes it hard for both of them to reconcile those facts.
a day later and so much is happening. The Taylors (Quin parents) use the events from the shooting as a means to (try) sue Julien and Hudson...
and that's when things get interesting, that's when Quin finally starts standing up for herself and starts seeing things for what they are, even contacting her estranged brother.

if you want to find out if Quin will end up with Julien and Hudson or chooses a different path in life you'll have to pick up a copy of nr 2 in this series. there's romance, action, drama, simply it's all there. a wonderful read for when you're nesting on the couch and want some strong bears to fight for what they want!

free copy gifted in exchange for an honest review.
