I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: The Cougar's Trade

The Cougar's Trade The Cougar's Trade by Holley Trent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this part of the Dessert Gang, we follow Miles Bennet. one of three friends who was abducted by three brothers, in hope of being their mate. one pairing was successful but that left two of them behind with two brother that aren't sure who to go for. two weeks it takes them to make up their mind and at the last minute Hank decides that Miles may be the lesser of two evils.
he knows he needs a mate to keep his human form but he's not too thrilled about it. he's suspecting his meant-to-be-mate will decide to go back home. Miles surprised him by simply stating that she'll be his mate. he didn't see that one coming but it's the start of their coming together.
will they figure things out to make it work? can there be more between them? hank is used to feisty woman but then Miles, timid and calm, enters his world and she turns it upside down!

if you have enjoyed book 1 in the series you will love this one just as much, same as you'll enjoy catching up with other characters.
i liked this from the first till the last page and can't wait for book 3!
