I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Desert Hunt

Desert Hunt Desert Hunt by Anna Lowe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

it's hard for rae to find her place in a pack. she's a wolf, but so much more then just a wolf, but that is just the part of her she doesn't want the others to know for fear of being held by a pack just because she is who she is. her current pack isn't really to her liking but she can make due. when they send her away to a pack across the continent she's not sure what to expect. It takes a bit of time but she can get used to working and living on twin moon ranch.
her run in, or rather bump in, with zack has her confused and has her wolf in a very stubborn state. her wolf wants zack, bad!
will she be able to listen to her wolf? she doesn't want to, one mistake in the past as made her weary enough not to want to get involved with another shifter. but zack is zack, their attraction is sizzling and both are doing their best to not act on it.. when it's a new moon and she decides to let her own wolf loose and do her "thing" the pack alpha is angry and puts zack on her tail to find her and bring her back.
he finds her alright, together with a nasty visitor from her past. will they make it back in time? will they be able to keep fighting the attraction?
what happens when her secret gets out? the trust she had build up is crumbled in a second and she jumps to a billion conclusion.

a sweet read that in the end resolves a lot around trust. a lovely read, nice build up.
