I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Bait This!

Bait This! Bait This! by Tasha Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

there isn't much i haven't read from miss tasha that i didn't love. this new series of her was right there on top with the rest of her books.
the build up and anticipation was sucking me right into the book which was hard to put down until i reached the end.
we're still familiar with the world she created in earlier books and little hints here and there will sound familiar to the reader.
in the first book we meet derek, an orphaned shifter who's blessed with a "curse" of 300 moons. he never gave it much tought and mostly he was able to control his bear into submission. but as of late his bear was getting stronger and more stubborn. when he decides to fly home to his mom, his plane crashes. he's found by a woman that has his bear in a very determined state of lust, want and need. fighting his bear as best as he can, he has to agree with it that their rescuer is one fine woman. when things around her go a bit wrong he can't help but be protective of her.
as the events play out he also has to come to terms with his bear and the "curse"

can't wait to find out how the rest of his brother's respond to their "curse"!
