I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: A Mate's Redeeming Touch

A Mate's Redeeming Touch A Mate's Redeeming Touch by Merryn Dexter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ven and Caitlyn, two wolves matched by fate but neither really can't belief they're chosen for each other.
Ven forced to be among the pack and humans, troubled with himself and his past is convinced he's no mate material and does his best to avoid Caitlyn at all costs. luckily his wolf has other ideas.
Caitlyn has her own crappy past, a past her family reminds her of every single day. moving forward is hard to do but now that they returned to the pack (now it has a new alpha) she starts to see things for what they are. she's convinced fate has pulled one on her when grumpy, arrogant, constantly angry Ven is tossed in her path. she recognizes the bond but she's unsure of how to proceed. once more her wolf is the smarter one.
the title of this books explains it all, it's nice coming together of two troubled persons who hopefully will be able to work through the issues they're having to deal with.
it had a nice pace to the story telling, loved that with each part you still get to learn how the others in this serial are doing without straying from the main characters too much.
