I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Promising Peter (Bad Boy Alphas)

Promising Peter (Bad Boy Alphas) Promising Peter (Bad Boy Alphas) by Holley Trent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

peter is good at what he does, he's ruthless, a mercenary that has no roots and no real clan. that all changes when he runs into andrea, the meek little sister of the alpha bear. something about her soothes his bear but he also knows he can't act on his instincts, he'd scar her for life.
when the mating pull is at it's strongest he sees no other way but to bearnapp her in order to guard over her and keep his bear in check. but things go from bad to worse when andrea falls into some kind of coma.
andrea is insecure, she has no real relationship with her bear, even worse, her bear hates her and would love to see her dead!
peter is forced into a corner when there is no change in her condition. with few moments here and there she manages to reach out and call for help.
how will peter be able to help andrea? will he loose her to her bear or will he find a way to conquer the bear spirit and battle for the one person that makes him feel grounded and wanted?
it's a heartfelt drama, this story. so many raw emotions that pass you by!
the hard decisions that have to be made in this story are life-changing!
