I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Fake It Til You Mate It

Fake It Til You Mate It Fake It Til You Mate It by Jacqueline Sweet
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

danny and sarah, BFF's for ages, sarah being one of the few knowing that danny can turn furry when he wants to.
but now danny is called back to a big pack meeting and he has one big problem. he's supposed to bring a mate or be "happy" with the woman his mother will arrange for him. explaining his dilemma to sarah she knows there is only one thing to do. they'll fake being together.
for sarah there won't be much faking, she always had a little crush on danny but the time never seemed right, or he was dating someone, or she was seeing someone, but now both were single and if this was a way she could help him out...
when they arrive and meet his small pack, their ruse is quickly discovered and simply pretending won't be enough. her scent isn't right, they will have to take it a step further. but it seems neither of them mind that much. not when danny's bear is finally waking up and being more adamant what sarah is to them.
when they discover their true feelings for each other, you'd think that would be the end of it, but then you don't know danny's mom ....
she tries her best to thwart her son but does she succeed or not?

was the first book i read in this series and i happen to like them. will have to dig a bit further in this series and see if the other books are just as good!
