I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Mating Dance

Mating Dance Mating Dance by Merryn Dexter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

35 years! 35! that's how long it took Sander to roam around in various places/jobs before a tragedy in his latest job has him considering where he really belongs. without a second thought he packed up everything and left to go back to his pack.
a few days are all he needs to find his spot again with the pack, like he wasn't away for decades.
that isn't counting on Rory, the young girl he left behind. when he sees her again his wolf had a very clear message for him : mate. and it seemed not only his wolf knew but the local matrons had set their sight on them as well.
Rory was fuming when she saw Sander again. he had left her. it had taken a lot but she managed to make a living, mostly in solitude but with Sander back things come crashing down, hard. in her fifties and still single, Sander is the one wolf who makes her own wolf preen and prance around him and knew at some level what he was to her but she couldn't accept it. he left them 35 years ago! 35!

what a joy it was to read about these two, them not being in their early twenties or thirties is also refreshing. love has no age!! gotta love these matrons and their meddling ways of bringing people together.
